Singing - can hold a tune and do harmonies, got a good Alto belt and sings in the All Saints Gospel Choir in Fulham. She has been known to lead the choir too. Horseriding - used to play polo and has even ridden sidesaddle. Rowing - rows in a Ladies Eight on the Thames. Dancing - trained to a high level in ballet, tap and modern dance a long time ago at Laine's but can still put a routine together even after all these years. She likes to think of herself as "An actress who moves well" ;-) Yoga keeps her fit now. Ski-ing - She prefers the 'apres ski' if she's honest. Learnt whilst working with Richard Dreyfuss in Sun Valley in Idaho one season, It's like riding a bike, isn't it? Interior design - she studied design and architecture at UCLA in Los Angeles and now knows what an Eames chair is. As a result Alexandra draws and paints well and has a sense of good design and visual balance and impact which works well for her when she's directing film.
