Last week I got an email from Luc Besson’s assistant telling me there were a couple of tickets for me for the premiere of FROM PARIS WITH LOVE!! Cue the Fashion Emergency!! I rushed to Oxford Street for my outfit. Called Vic (Ed of Company mag) for advice. Coast? No. everything all spring-y and girlie...ended up At FRENCH Connection - how fitting!! Met Wedding Shop Laura and found a gorgeous little sixties sequined shift that we coupled with high black platforms and thick black tights and a man’s style dress jacket with ‘Don Johnson’ sleeves. Everyone was happy. Phew!

The usual 2 1/4 hours on Eurostar was unfortunately more like 4 as the snow and a signal failure held us up. But I was not late for the prem. Once at Gard Du Nord I dashed to Europacorp to pick up my invite. Met Lexie Kendrick and we went back to her flat to get ready. (Lexie is an American actress who lives in Paris. She plays my assistant in the film.) After a glass of champagne, we proudly walked the red carpet, had our photos taken - we were truly papped - and found our seats.

Major Star Sighting: (Apart from John Travolta and Kelly Preston of course!) Vincent Perez was sitting right behind me and I got to tell him how much I love Queen Margot and his gorgeousness in it. He asked me: Do YOU play in ze film? (referring to FPWL of course) I said “Yes! I play in ze film!”

The movie is definatley ACTION like I’ve never seen before - not that I have much to compare it to - don’t even go to James Bond movies - HIL-arious to see JT picking off a suicide bomber with a huge bazooka thing who’s chasing MY LIMO along the freeway and then say

“Welcome to Paris Baby!!”

No after party :-( so no shots of me and JT - he went for a ‘private dinner’ with Luc and Pierre Morel (dir). By the time Lexie and I got out of the auditorium they had all vanished in a puff of smoke!

But I had had my life saved by John and that is good enough for me!!

FROM PARIS WITH LOVE opens on Friday 26th February
